FOWNS

The Friends of Wren's Nest Primary School (F.O.W.N.S.) helps Wren's Nest Primary School to raise money to buy valuable resources for the school whilst providing fun and games for the children.

The 2008 Christmas Fayre raised £918.77.  We would like to thank everyone in FOWNS for all their hard work preparing for the fayre and making the day itself such a success.

We have been asked to make a special purchase with our funds this year.  We will be buying an LCD display screen for the new school reception.  This will act as a virtual noticeboard and display images and written information.  It will help us to keep parents informed  about what has been taking place in school and announce any opportunities available for parents and children such as clubs and adult courses.

More recently, we have also paid for new goalposts £60, Coach hire £330 for trips and the Year 6 Beach Party £135.73.
