The Curriculum at Wren's Nest
The school curriculum at Wren's Nest provides all children with a wide range of learning opportunities.
These experiences equip children with literacy and numeracy skills and stimulate interest and enquiry. The programmes of work fulfil all the requirements of the National Curriculum.
During the autumn term 2008, our new enrichment programme has started with all children attending at least 1 visit or experience each half term. These visits may be linked to curriculum topics or provide opportunities for developing key experiences. Mrs Rattue, Mrs Buddan and Miss Shaw are all taking part in a Black Country Challenge project to evaluate the role of practical experiences in enhancing children's learning.
